Arcadia in Flux is a short film showcasing two typologies of architectural projects designed and built by R.C.TECH - residences and places of work, in Kythera and Athens. Public places of work produce value and challenge the times we live in while the ancient allegory of Arcadia still relates to the modern vision for life in the Greek landscape.

A few weeks back we got the chance to present at ΕΣΩ 2017 where we showcased part of our work through ARCADIA IN FLUX, a film by director Orfeas Peretzis and StudioBauhaus.

‘Kafeneio’ in Santorini / May 4, 2015 by R.C.TECH

These are the schematic design renderings prepared for the Kafeneio project on the island of Santorini – an underground café to be built in Fyra on the crest of the sheer Caldera cliff.

R.C.TECH recently completed the design and fit-out works for Reed Smith’s new office space in Athens. We are posting here the first few pictures from the project – more material to be uploaded soon on our website.

Venice Biennale 2014 – Works at the Greek Pavilion / April 16, 2015 by R.C.TECH

A few months back, R.C.TECH undertook the construction works for the setup of the Greek participation in the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. The participation was directed and curated by National Commissioner, professor Yannis Aesopos under the title “Tourism Landscapes: Remaking Greece”.
The exhibition is now running at the Acropolis Museum and will be open to public until 19thApril. For more information visit the exhibition’s website.
The exhibition examines and presents –through examples of both built and unrealized projects as well as through new designs developed for the exhibition by Greek and foreign architects– architectures of tourism as tools for the modernization of the country and the shaping of its identity.

A Summer Video / April 16, 2015 by R.C.TECH

A couple of summers back, director Orfeas Peretzis produced a beautiful short video on the Zarmynarie House - a vacation hamlet located on a hilltop near the village of Gerakari in Kythera. It overlooks Cavo Malea and hosts a big atrium at its center which acts as a living core, surrounded by verandas and interior spaces with breathtaking views.

Open House Athens / April 4, 2014 by R.C.TECH

R.C.TECH’s office building is participating in this year’s Open House Athens event and is listed as building No 25. The office building on 6 Chatzioannou str., awarded for its sustainable features and design, will be open to the public on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April from 11.00 to 15.00. HELIARCH Lecture / December 13, 2013 by R.C.TECH

The House with the Sundial: A Video / June 4, 2013 by R.C.TECH

The House with the Sundial video focuses on the historic Cavallini Residence in Kythera, recently restored by R.C.TECH. The video was directed by Orfeas Peretzis and it is the inaugural piece of the Architectural Traces series of videos, produced by R.C.TECH.
